We area so excited that you have made the important decision to publically proclaim your allegiance to our Lord Jesus through baptism and we are honored to celebrate your baptism with you.

I want to make sure you understand what baptism is and what it is not.

Baptism is not about joining the church and the act of baptism doesn't 'save' you. Baptism is a public declaration to everyone in the room that:

1. You have accepted the priceless gift of God's forgiveness;
2. You believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and;
3. You confess Jesus as Lord - which means you are ready to turn from your old life of doing your own thing your own way, to now live a life of submission to the rule of Jesus in your life and affairs.

If you have done so and are ready to make it public we rejoice with you!
