Prayer and Fasting – March 10 - April 19, 2019

Experiencing God's best during a time of fasting and praying requires a commitment. In fact, arranging a specific time each day with God is vital in building an intimate relationship with the Father. During the time you would normally be preparing or eating meals, spend time in prayer and reading the Bible. Here is a suggested Bible Reading plan for this week with questions for meditation and reflection.

Daily Scripture Reading

Day 1 – Acts 12:12-16
When we pray even in little faith to our great God, He answers us. How has God answered prayer in your life?

Day 2 – Matthew 6:7-9
God is holy and when we hallow God’s name, we are worshiping and praising God for who He is and we are seeking his face. How are you worshiping and praising God today?

Day 3 – Matthew 6:10
How is God’s Kingdom ruling in your life? What do you need to submit to God’s will instead of your own?

Day 4 – Matthew 6:11
What needs are you trusting God to meet?

Day 5 – Matthew 6:12
What do you need to confess to God? Who do you need to forgive?

Day 6 – Matthew 6:13
How is God leading you away from temptation today? How does being obedient to God help provide deliverance from the evil one?

Day 7 – Matthew 6:5-6
