GROUPS

Growing in relationship with God and one another

At The Family Church, the Lord has given us a vibrant fellowship that meets to worship and hear the word of God together on Sundays. However, we believe that real life change happens better in circles than in rows. For that reason we encourage everyone to find their tribe in a Community Group (or C-Group for short). It is in groups that you will be able to spend time with like minded people, share struggles, find community and grow deeper in your faith. Men, women, couples, singles, old and young…there’s a Community Group for you! (CTA: Find A Group)

Common Questions

What happens at a Small Group meeting?
At most Community Groups, you can expect to eat, spend some time meeting new people, having fun or playing games, studying scripture and praying together. Our Groups are not run like classes just for teaching, although there may be some teaching. It’s also not just hanging out, although rich times will be had by all. We seek to model our groups after Jesus who led and discipled his small group of 12 by doing life together with them.
Small groups vary on how often they meet , ranging from weekly to bi-weekly. Our hope is that your relationships will grow beyond the meetings to truly do life together.
Our Community Groups meet all throughout the county. We meet in homes, coffee shops, restaurants, at the church, etc. Depending on where you are located we know we can find a community group that is right for you.
Some small groups do have childcare, just be sure to double check the info on the community group leaders bio to confirm that they do.
That’s okay! There are many factors into choosing a small group that fits you and we understand if one doesn’t quite meet what you need, you are more than welcome to try a few before deciding which group is best for you.

Believe & Be Baptized

I have decided to follow Jesus.

When a believer has turned away from their sin (repent) and put their whole trust in Jesus (faith), the proper next step in their walk with God is to be publicly baptized. Jesus says “Whoever believes and is baptized shall be saved” Mark 16:16.
