PRAYER AND FASTING – March 10 - April 19, 2019
Experiencing God's best during a time of fasting and praying requires a commitment. In fact, arranging a specific time each day with God is vital in building an intimate relationship with the Father. During the time you would normally be preparing or eating meals, spend time in prayer and reading the Bible.
Here is list of prayer times happening at The Family Church each week along with a suggested Bible Reading plan for this week with questions for meditation and reflection.

Where do you need God to strengthen you today? Where do you desire to see the goodness of the Lord today?

Fasting is when a person voluntarily abstains from food for a given time to devote himself or herself to prayer. Fasting is a way to humble ourselves. Fasting should never be done to show off one’s devotion to Christ. Fasting is a time of intimate fellowship with the Lord in prayer and Bible Study.

Recommended Fasting Options: Please select and commit to one of the following options for fasting.
Option 1: Take at least one 24-hour period each week and fast by not eating and instead drink fluids such as water, tea, broth and/or fruit juices.
Option 2: If you are new to fasting or have health-related concerns select one meal per week to fast. Please be sure to consult with your healthcare provider before fasting if you have any concerns.
